SITUATION

Me.exe was a collaborative, year-long short film project created by a team of 20 filmmakers. I joined as the Production Designer, working closely with the Director and Director of Photography (DP) to build the visual world of the story. From set design to wardrobe and every artistic detail in between

  • Sourced, designed, and organized wardrobe, working closely with actors to ensure character accuracy and comfort

  • Scouted and sourced set pieces like furniture and background elements to practically and aesthetically reflect the film’s narrative arc

  • Managed on-set art direction, ensuring continuity, styling, and mood stayed consistent across scenes

PERSONAL IMPACT

This project taught me the value of collaboration in its truest form. Working with a large team of filmmakers, I learned how to listen to different perspectives, adapt to challenges in real time, and contribute meaningfully to a shared creative vision. It pushed me to think beyond just aesthetics and really consider how every design choice supports the story and the characters.

I also gained a deeper understanding of how interconnected every department is. From lighting to wardrobe to set, everything needs to work together to create something that feels real and immersive. Being part of that process made me more confident in my creative voice and more intentional in how I approach storytelling through design. It was one of the most creatively fulfilling experiences I’ve had so far, and it reinforced how much I care about using visual design to help bring ideas to life.
